Donna Health & Wellness Expo
This event was a miracle in and of itself. We had a last minute cancelation due to weather in Fort Walton, and with haste we began searching for indoor events anywhere in Florida and surrounding states. There was a large winter storm rolling through all of America (hence needing to be inside), and the Donna Health and Wellness Expo was the only event we could find, all the way across the state in Jacksonville, Florida. There was one single booth left available for this event and we secured it almost immediately, and began driving the whole day from one end of the Florida to the other. On the way to this event, we were contacted by the event coordinator, who let us know that there was another business owner debating on whether or not they should purchase that space and how we swooped in just in the nick of time.
With excitement we set foot in Jacksonville to service this community. We happened to also have an incredible visit to The Church of Eleven 22 and listen to Pastor Joby Martin in the flesh, the day before the start of the event.
Upon arrival we were greeted by so many lovely vendors and sponsors for an event to "Finish Breast Cancer". A perfect place for our medicinal herbs. We were met with such enthusiasm and were even able to stay with a family member living in Jacksonville, which made it an even more special experience.
This was the fourth event we had our prayer wall up for anyone to participate if they wanted. The prayer wall has quickly been filling with hundreds of prayers being tied to the wall. A place of intimacy with the Lord and we are the stewards of this space. We don't take this responsibility lightly whatsoever. More and more, we are understanding how important it is to be placed in these spaces to war in the Spirit and be prayer warriors of Jesus Christ.
There were so many moving and prayerful conversations with such generous and loving people at this event. We hope to be invited to this event again next year and pray for all those struggling in their battle with breast cancer. We pray for their healing in Jesus' mighty name.
