Independence High School JROTC 2025 Holiday Market

Independence High School JROTC 2025 Holiday Market

As we begin working towards helping more Veterans with our Operation Bearded Hedgehog, we knew it would be a great idea to sign up for a JROTC Holiday Market in Middle Tennessee. This event helped raise money for Independence High School's JROTC Program. We were assigned our booth location, and we quickly found a secondary door to load in closer to where our spot was assigned. We shared this secret doorway with other vendors near our booth, to help them find an easier way to load in and out of the school as well. One vendor was so thankful for this simple act, that he gave us a beautiful handmade tote bag from his amazing company.

The biology teacher at this event was a taxidermist since he was fifteen years old, and he showed us his massive collection he was selling due to retirement. We picked up a skunk fur, a couple turtle shells, a fossil, feathers, a moose shed, and other various treasures. His collection was incredible, and we wished we could have taken it all home with us.

We met so many lovely people at this event, and were able to meet a previous customer's family members, visiting from Colorado, who came to this event just to see us. We shared in prayer and fellowship with sweet people from another booth, and a woman came over and gifted us a handmade manger ornament she crafted from clay. We felt an abundance of blessings at this event, and we look forward to returning next year.
