Masthope Mountain Community Craft Show 2025

There is a beautiful community about forty five minutes from our farm, called Masthope Mountain Community. This is a fantastic private community nestled in the Pocono Mountains. Close to the New York border, this community has something extra special about it, it has a ski slope named BIG BEAR!!! Ski Big Bear is where many beginner skiers come to learn and enjoy the relaxed slopes during the winter months, and during the spring, summer, and autumn, this mountain community is loaded with activities, stables with horses, pools, lakes and events for the whole family to enjoy.

On October 12th, we had the lovely opportunity to attend Masthope Mountain Community’s Craft Show they host a few times a year. This was their Autumn Market just in time for gift giving during the upcoming Holidays and this event did not disappoint. There were so many talent crafters and interesting guests. We even got the chance to see some friends we met while doing other markets in the Lackawaxan area. The gentleman in charge of running the event, Lukus, was so communicative, helpful, kind, and generous, inviting us to return in the spring after the event had ended. There were so many darling interactions throughout the day, we were delighted to be of service to this wonderful community. After the event came to a close, we went to see the changing of leaves on the horizon line from the ski lift’s perspective. There were bountiful deer grazing and we even spotted some wild mullein growing nearby. It was such a pleasant Sunday, and we not only look forward to returning in the Springtime, but we plan on coming this winter for a few rides on the slopes.
